Theta Flex Optical Tensiometer Showcasing at the Advanced Materials Show in Telford

Dyne Testing is at the Advanced Materials Show in Telford, UK over the next couple of days with partners Biolin Scientific showcasing the Theta Flex Optical Tensiometer, a smart desktop interfacial measurement solution for wettability and adhesion, ideal for research and QC.

Advanced Materials 2019The exhibition gives visitors a unique opportunity to meet with 200 suppliers of innovative materials and the entire R&D supply chain.  Co-located with Ceramics UK, a free four-track conference will focus on innovations in graphene, 2D materials, nanomaterials, advanced composites, coatings, technical glass and ceramics.

The Theta Flex Optical Tensiometer provides highly accurate measurements for research, development and industrial quality control and can perform a complete range of measurements including:

  • Static contact angle with the sessile drop, captive bubble and meniscus methods
  • Dynamic contact angle with the tilted drop and sessile drop methods
  • Surface free energy with the sessile drop, captive bubble and meniscus methods
  • Surface- and interfacial tension with the pendant drop and reverse pendant drop methods
  • Roughness-corrected contact angle and 3D surface roughness with the Fringe projection phase shifting method
  • Interfacial dilatational rheology with the pulsating drop method

For more information and to discuss the instrument in more detail, you can visit us on Stand 1108 at the Advanced Materials Show until 11th July or contact our Sales Team via email: [email protected] or telephone 01543 411460.
